After a lot of thoughtful conversation as a family, we've decided to take a break from hosting the David Hill Farm Lily Festival for the next few years.

This wasn't an easy decision. As our kids have gotten older, high school sports and family commitments have filled our calendar, and we've realized we can no longer give the festival the time and attention it deserves. While we've loved sharing thousands of blooming lilies with all of you, the amount of work and expense required to put on the festival no longer fits this season of our lives.

The good news is that this isn't the end of flowers at David Hill Farm. In fact, it's the beginning of something new.

Over the next year, we'll be expanding our flower gardens with a wider variety of blooms and creating new ways for families to enjoy the farm. We're dreaming about U-pick bouquet gardens, picnic spaces, family reunions, small gatherings, and other special events that allow people to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the farm throughout the season.

Christmas tree season isn't going anywhere, and we're excited to continue making holiday memories with all of you each winter.

As for the Lily Festival... we aren't saying goodbye forever. We hope to bring it back around 2030 when life allows us to devote the time and energy it deserves.

Thank you for supporting our little family farm over the years. Your encouragement has meant more than you know, and we're excited to share this next chapter with you. We can't wait to welcome you back as David Hill Farm continues to grow and evolve.
